Mary & Eric | Marine Corps Museum Engagement

There is nothing quite like a couple who are head-over-heels; can’t contain their giddiness; madly, truly, deeply in love with one another. Couples that smile at each other often, make each other laugh, encourage and lift each other up. Who make you love “love.” It’s couples like these that light my heart on fire and remind me how amazing my job is! I love photographing couples, specifically engagement & anniversary sessions, so much because it means I have been given the honor of visually preserving an intimate, unique chapter in their love story, and to me that’s a big deal!! I’m beyond thankful for couples who entrust me with that privilege and welcome me so joyfully into a season of their lives! I’m so excited to introduce Mary and Eric to you here today, because they are literally the epitome of everything I just described!!

These two. They are sweet, kind, fun, and overall a joy to be around! They took me to the Marine Corps Museum, the site of many dates throughout their relationship and where Eric proposed! Read the captions throughout this post to find out exactly where! Their session was after the museum had closed so we had the grounds entirely to ourselves, which was awesome, and we had the dreamiest glowy light! They were such naturals in front of the camera and their session is so gorgeous I can’t even stand it. Their August wedding day here the Semper Fi Chapel is going to be full of so much JOY!! I can’t wait!!

Mary & Eric, I just love you two. Please don’t ever stop being yourselves. The world needs more couples like you. Enjoy your blog post, and I’ll be seeing you SO SOON!!!

What beautiful photographs. Your smile is so much like your moms – lucky girl! I pray for all the happiness in the world for you two. Al retired from the US Marine Corps and it was a wonderful part of our journey of 45 years of marriage (48 years altogether). Always remember that a marriage takes three and keep God at the center, always communicate and be each others best friends. Praying for many, many years of happiness. Debbie H. Bliss
