Gosh, I love this couple. Jon & Kaitlyn are both so sweet, easy going, and IN LOVE with each other, and capturing their wedding day was such a joy! They care so deeply for one another and for their families and friends, and it was such an honor to witness the love that filled their whole day!!
Andrew and I arrived at the hotel that morning to photograph details and Kaitlyn was so excited to have her girls with her and to get married!! As we drove from the hotel to the venue, the sky became increasingly gray and dark as it got closer to First Look time and I was a little worried! By the time Kaitlyn was in her dress and ready to go see Jon the heavens had opened up and it was POURING! Thankfully, we found shelter on Rose Hill’s spacious front porch and the two of them shared the most beautiful, tender First Look I have ever seen. Jon was moved to tears at the sight of his bride, and Kaitlyn teared up at the sight of Jon tearing up! They were nothing but smiles and laughs and snuggles despite the rain, and then magically, about 2 minutes in the clouds parted, the rain stopped, and the sun was out! Andrew was able to step off the porch and get some GREAT shots and my photographer heart was overflowing!
Rose Hill Manor was draped in gold and navy blue, with stunning red roses scattered here and there to give everything a gorgeous pop! Originally the ceremony was planned as an outdoor affair, but the rain moved everything indoors to the small ballroom which created such a cozy, intimate scene for their vows. After the ceremony it was time to PARTY! The reception featured the Jon & Kaitlyn’s first dance as a married couple, a conga line, and some really fun group/line dances! The dance floor was full most of the time, and a sparkler exit capped the night off!
Jon & Kaitlyn, your wedding day was just breathtaking. It was our absolute pleasure to spend it with you and your families! We hope you are enjoying married life and hope you love this little snippet of our favorite shots from your day!! Love to you both!
