As I write this, I’m holding back tears and some really cheesy cliches. This post is so special to me, and it might be difficult, but I’m going to try to get through the entire thing without getting really sappy and emotional!!

This wedding day was dear to my heart for two really awesome reasons. The first and most important reason was that I got to witness my sweet friend of over 22 years (yes, you read that right – we’ve been friends literally since we were babies!) become a WIFE!! Secondly, this was my first REAL wedding acting as the primary photographer! My amazing husband Andrew came alongside me and was the most incredible assistant/second shooter I could have ever imagined. It was such a neat experience for us to not only share in the joy of our friends getting married, but to work together in documenting their day for them! So cool!

Morgan & I have been dreaming of our wedding days since we were little little girls. We played with a lot of Barbies and Beanie Babies, and the theme of nearly every play time was either “wedding” or “house.” We have dreamed for years of being wives and mommies, and a little over a year ago Morgan’s mommy dreams came true. She and Nick welcomed sweet Brantley into the world and everything changed in the best way! My heart overflows with joy when I watch Morgan with her son, and now it continues to overflow as I watch her with Nick. She is so proud to be his and you can tell he loves her more than anything. Their little family is so precious and it’s been a blessing to watch it grow over the years. Morgan, I can’t wait to see what changes come over the next few years for both our families, and I pray we can continue to share them together as we have for the last two decades! I love you so so much!!

Nick, Morgan, and Brantley: thank you for trusting us to capture the memories of your day. We loved celebrating with you and cherish you three more than you know!
