As this little business of mine has grown, I’ve come to find that I absolutely adore shooting both high school and college senior portraits. One of my goals for my business this year was to launch a small Senior Representative program, and I’m excited to share that I have two wonderful young women on board this year! These girls are such an answer to prayer and I am so thrilled to introduce one of them to you today!

This beautiful girl is Kaitlyn Evernham and she is a literal ray of sunshine. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her without a smile on her face! Her family and I go to church together and they are such a joyful, supportive presence within our church body. Kaitlyn and her dad Dan have been on mission trips to our sister church in El Salvador participating in medical brigades there, and her sweet mom Cindy has such a loving heart and is the one of the most encouraging, positive woman I know. When I was putting feelers out about this Rep program, I felt the Lord tug on my heart to speak to them directly. They loved the idea of participating in the program and they have been a huge blessing through this planning process. Having clients like the Evernhams who are not only easy to work with, but who are willing to extend me grace and help me grow is amazing to say the least and I have become a much more confident business owner and person because of their encouragement! Kaitlyn, Dan, and Cindy, thank you so much for trusting me to document this exciting time for your family – I’m over the moon that you’re a part of this launch!

So one of the perks of being a Senior Rep is a free mini session to kick off your Rep experience. Kaitlyn brought her sweet boyfriend Logan along with her to her mini at Manassas Battlefield Park and even though it was reeeaaaally hot and sticky outside, we had an amazing time! We were sweating buckets and fighting off flies and other icky bugs, but because Kaitlyn is a natural-born PRO at this, you can’t tell that it was basically a sauna outside! She would smack a bug off her arm and then get right back in a pose like nothing happened!! It was both hilarious and impressive! I’ll brag on her more later when we do her full senior session, so for now I’ll just share her beautiful mini session portraits!
