This last month has been a whirlwind of wonderful sessions that have been scheduled and re-scheduled due to days and days of rain here in Fredericksburg. The next couple weeks are just as busy and are peppered with rain reschedules -gotta love those VA thunderstorms! Thankfully Miranda was willing to be flexible and tweak our original shooting plans to work around the weather the day of her session (since it was supposed to rain that day too!), and I think we absolutely lucked out with a perfectly overcast afternoon that resulted in some of the most GORGEOUS images I’ve ever taken! I am over the moon to share these!!

I am not ashamed to admit that I was giddy with excitement throughout the entire senior experience with Miranda. I had been excitedly anticipating this session because she was just the sweetest, most easy-going girl right from the beginning, and I knew we were going to have so much fun! She met Andrew and me in downtown Fredericksburg last week and greeted us with her beautiful smile and a hug. She mentioned previously that she was drawn to 90s inspired fashion and was debating bringing a sun hat to her session, so I was mega stoked to see her outfits! We had a blast coordinating her style with some great locations in downtown and the images we captured are STUNNING!! These are hands down my favorite senior portraits to date!!

Miranda, you are a delightful and beautiful soul. Thanks for going with the flow and encouraging my creativity!! Have the time of your life at Virginia Tech and enjoy the rest of your senior year!!! Enjoy a few of my favorites!!

A solid favorite!




Okay, so this may seem like an out of the ordinary shot, but let me explain:
Her mom has had these wedges since Miranda was a little girl. She’s always loved them & wanted to wear them but her momma held off until she was 18 because she wanted it to be special. Miranda allowed to wear them for her senior portraits & she was just over the moon! I just thought that was the sweetest little story!
