I am loving all these fall sessions!! The leaves are finally brightening up along the river and the McFarland boys and I caught some of them for their portraits! Yayyy!!!

I’ve known this family for what feels like forever, but it’s only been about 5 years! And in that 5 years, this is the first time we’ve ever gotten together for portraits! Ahhh! I’m so glad we finally did, even if it was to get some shots of just the boys, because these are some of the sweetest, most fun portraits I’ve taken in a long while! We have a family session planned for later this year, so hopefully you’ll be seeing more of them here on the blog soon!

These boys were so funny and settled into all the poses so naturally during this whole session – as we were shooting I keep thinking how grown up they look!! I’m so glad we chose this spot on the river (like I said before, I will never get tired of shooting there) because we were able to get a lot of variety AND there were lots of places for me to trip and slip and nearly fall to get the boys to laugh (which I gave them permission to do!) hahaha! They were good sports and by the end they didn’t want to leave!

Daniel & Christy, thank you for trusting me with these memories of your boys. Jackson & Seth, ya’ll are a hoot and I’m so glad we could have so much fun taking pictures! Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together!
