Spring is here in Virginia and it has been wonderful so far! To kick off my spring season, I had the pleasure of photographing the Jenkins family along the banks of the Rappahannock River in Fredericksburg! Andrew & I go to church with the Jenkins’ and I was honored to photograph their oldest son Reilley’s senior portraits this past fall (which you can view here), so it was really great to spend some more time with them.
These guys love to laugh and have fun together, so photographing them was an absolute blast for me! It is such a blessing for me to be invited to capture the joy of togetherness & the love of family – I walk away from every session so grateful for my clients and the opportunities I have to connect with them. God is so good! And you know you’re working with some awesome people when Mom is willing to climb up and down rocks in heels!!! Jackie rocked a pair of heeled ankle boots for the whole session, and I need to take a moment to give her mad props for successfully and gracefully navigating such rugged terrain of her own free will without batting an eye! She’s Wonderwoman! Haha!
Jenks & Jackie, thank you for trusting me with your family’s memories. I hope you enjoy your blog post!!
xoxo,
Amanda
Reilley will be in the Corps of Cadets a Texas A&M in the fall so the family wanted to show their Aggie pride!!
This moment made my heart melt. They’re going to miss each other!!
